Jerry Lee Barnes

Jerry  Lee Barnes, age 49, of North Branch, passed away on June 5th 2021 with his family by his side at Ascension Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Jerry was born on April 26, 1972, the son of Jerry Barnes and Tiena (DePelsMaeker) Barnes. He grew up in the Peck area and was a graduate of Peck High School. He was a supervisor at L&L Products in Romeo. Jerry also owned and operated J&J Pet Supplies in Marlette Michigan. Jerry enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, and drawing. Jerry is survived by his daughter,  Page Barnes, his mother, Tiena (Bob) Sprenger, his mom, Wendy Barnes, his sisters Jennifer Houghland, Tiffany Barnes and Angela Barnes, his step-daughter, Danielle Brogan.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Nicole Houghland, Riley Houghland, Carson Lazar, Cylas Vanslooten and Cayden Bishop. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Barnes.

Family will be present for visitation on Tuesday, June 8, at 12:00 to 3:00pm and 5:00 to 8:00pm. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On Wednesday June 9, visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 with funeral service to follow at 11:00 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Hewett will officiate. Jerry will be laid to rest next to his father at Elk Township Cemetery.
