Janet (Anderson) Summerfield

Janet Anderson Summerfield, born April 25, 1940 in Pontiac, MI passed away April 3, 2021 at Heritage Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Zeeland, MI.  Janet was the daughter of Clara Vaught  Anderson and Charles Lester Anderson.  Janet grew up in the Thumb area graduating from Yale High School in 1958. The family moved to Brown City where she met and married “Red” Condo.  She later married Robert Summerfield who also preceded her in death as well as her parents and brother, Charles Anderson. Janet will long be remembered for her spontaneous wit, generosity and her delicious dinner rolls.  Janet is survived by two sisters, Melba Sarchett of Holland, MI and Helen Bigelow of North Branch, MI, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service for Janet will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.  at the First Baptist Church in North Branch, MI. the family will be present for visitation at 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
