Helen Marie Simpson-Kain

 Helen Marie Simpson-Kain, age 90 of Lapeer, MI, passed away on January 8, 2020 with her family by her side. Helen was born on April 8, 1929 in Tomato, Arkansas.

She leaves behind her son, Arvil (Betty) Simpson; her daughters, Patricia Lange and Sandra (Norm) Green; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-children; her brothers, Floyd (Mary ) Nelson, and Joe Nelson; her sister, Melba MaCally;  many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Bertha Witaker and Ernestine Nelson; her brother, Alvie Ples Hall; her son-in-law, Kenneth Lange and her grandson Chad J. Lange.

Per Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place.

The family would like to extend their thanks to all the employees for the care and concern they showed our mother at LCMCF (Suncrest) while she was there. Thank-you also goes to Lapeer Hospital and Dr. Reddy for the excellent care that she received.
