Helen Irene (Chase) Berg

Helen Irene Berg age 84, of North Branch passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2026 at Fisher Senior Care and Rehabilitation, in Mayville. Helen was born October 22, 1941 to Julius Andrew Chase and Helen Regina Chase (Werdes), in Detroit, Mi. She graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn. Helen married Alan Dean Berg on July 30, 1966 and they shared over 59 years together.

Helen was a supportive and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a skilled pianist. She was a homemaker and an executive assistant at Ford Motor Company. Helen enjoyed canning and gardening. She loved horses and her many adopted greyhounds.

Helen is survived by her husband Alan, her daughter Gwendolyn Jankowsky (Herbert), grandsons Taylor Beveridge, Herbert Jankowsky, and Kenneth Jankowsky.

Helen will be laid to rest at West Lawn Cemetery, in North Branch at a later date.
