Harold Joseph, age 92, of Marlette formerly of Brown City passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the United Hospice Services of Marlette. Harold was born on March 9, 1930 in Dexter, Missouri, the son of Edgar Brown and Mae Elizabeth (White) Joseph. On June 16, 1951, he married Patricia Strong in Keego Harbor, MI. Harold proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for Michigan Bell as a lineman and repairman. He was a member of the North Branch Masonic Lodge #312 and the North Branch American Legion Post 457. Harold enjoyed farming, woodworking, fiddling with engines and flying airplanes.
Harold is survived by his children, Sharon P. Ball, Kathy (William) Hutchinson, Grant (Jane) Joseph and Stephanie Jackson, his 9 grandchildren, his 9 great-grandchildren, his 2 great-great grandchildren and his brothers, Jarl (Pat), Jim, Juell (Marge) and Jack (Bonnie), his sister, Joyce and his childhood friend, Wayne Millington . He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, his parents, his step-mother, Margaret Joseph, his children, Michael Joseph, Christine Garrett, Scott Joseph, Margaret Joseph, his sons-in-law, Randy Garrett and Jerry Jackson, his daughter-in-law, Gail Joseph and his sister. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Hannah Wolfe Home Senior Living, Marlette, MI, North Branch Masonic Lodge and the North Branch American Legion Post 457.
The family will be present for visitation on Sunday, October 16, 2022, 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. Masonic Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Jim Scrimger officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the North Branch American Legion Post 457. Harold and his wife, Patricia, will be laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
