Francis Fick

Francis Fick, 87, of Lapeer passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at McLaren/Lapeer Region Hospital. Francis was born on May 4, 1937 in Lapeer, the son of Claude and Rose (Doebler) Fick. He grew up in the Lapeer area and was a 1955 graduate of Lapeer High School. He attended the First Baptist Church in Lapeer. He was a member of the Holstein Association. Francis was a dairy farmer. He enjoyed planting his potatoes and veggies. He was a simple man, who loved sitting outside enjoying nature and it’s beauty.

Francis is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Aaron and Marjorie Bennett, grandchildren, Justin Myers, Hailey (Billy) Brooks, Faith Carr, Alaina Bennett, great-grandson, Roman Peeler-Myers, sisters, Rosemary Heffel, Jeanette Crutchfield, Thelma Woodrow. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Malcolm, Marie, Margaret, Kenneth, Wayne, Alice, Jack and Robert.

In keeping with Francis’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private burial will be a Oregon Township Cemetery at a later date.
