Faye Lynn Morrison, 64, of North Branch passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at home with her family by her side. Faye was born on January 7, 1961 in Marlette, the daughter of Harold Duane and Janet (Kittle) Dodds. Faye grew up in the North Branch area and was a 1979 graduate of North Branch High School. She graduated from Spring Arbor College with her bachelor’s degree and later attended Mott Commuity College for her nursing degree. On October 6, 1984, she married Steven Morrison in Sandusky. Faye enjoyed life to the fullest, knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, needlefelting, tending to her flower gardens, shopping, beekeeping and playing the flute.
Faye is survived by her husband, Steve, her children, Lauren (Allen) Morrison-Chen and Amanda (John) Ostroski, grandson, Ezra, parents, Duane and Janet Dodds, brother, Darrel Dodds, sisters, Mary (Mark) Cryderman and DeAnn (Bradley) Marston-Gronvall, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to McLaren Hospice or Susan G. Komen.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, 1:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On Saturday, March 15, 2025, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with a gathering 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Rev. Mark Cryderman will be officiating. Faye will be buried at North Branch Burlington Cemetery at a later date.
