Evelyn Ruth (Grow) Radzwion

Evelyn Ruth Radzwion, age 94, of North Branch, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Evelyn was born on March 27, 1927, in Marlette, Mi, the daughter of James and Effie (Hastings) Grow. Evelyn grew up in Marlette and was a 1945 graduate of Marlette High School.  Evelyn married Joseph Barbara, where they owned and operated a restaurant in Los Angeles, California. After Joe’s death, she married Henry Orcino, they continued running the restaurant.  When Henry passed away, Evelyn decided it was time to move back home. She then married Jerry Radzwion.  Evelyn loved to travel. Her church and her North Branch community meant so much to her. Evelyn always had a smile on her face.

Evelyn is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her brothers, Walt, Lawrence and Orville, her sisters, Bessie, Esther and Belva.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation for Evelyn will be on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.  There will be a scripture service at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the church. On Thursday, May 6, 2021, visitation will be 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M.  Rev. Richard Treml will be officiating. Evelyn will be laid to rest at West Burlington Cemetery in Silverwood, MI.
