Edna M. (Harrington) Baragar

Edna M. Baragar, age 83, of Fostoria passed away on November, 4, 2021 at Churchill Farms, Lapeer. Edna was born in Lapeer on September 11, 1938, the daughter of Clare and Esther (Willet) Harrington. Edna grew up in Onaway, MI and was a graduate of Onaway High School. On June 21, 1980, she married Harold Baragar at Pleasant View Free Methodist Church in Mayville.  Edna was a homemaker. She loved taking care of her family. She was a “Mom”. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and driving the country roads taking in the sites.

Edna is survived by her children, Mike Auger, Marsha Andersen, Zelda (Richard) Schippers and Annette (Michael) Vitale, her step-children, Jeremy (Leah) Baragar and Mitzi (Jeff) Noordyke, her 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and her brother Del (Carolyn) Harrington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold and her parents.

The family will be present for visitation on Monday, November 8, 2021, 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, visitation will be 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M.  Pastor Ronald Hutchinson  will be officiating. Edna will be laid to rest next to her husband at West Deerfield Cemetery in Fostoria.
