Dorothy Adeline (Heatley) Tripp went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Dorothy was born August 6, 1933, in North Branch, Michigan. She lived with her husband, Paul A. Tripp, in Metamora for many years before the two retired to Lapeer, Michigan.
Dorothy is survived by her nephew, Lester Heatley of Arizona, her great niece and goddaughter, Monica Griffith-Braud of Gonzales, Louisiana, two great nieces, Jennifer Kunkle Daigle and Tami Heatley, four great-nephews Joshua, Eric, and Matthew Heatley and Anthony Willin, and 8 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Paul A. Tripp (March 2, 2022), her brother Leo James “Jim” Heatley, her sister-in-law Virginia Heatley, her brother-in-law Robert Tripp, her niece Ardis K. Brown, and her parents Harry Lester Heatley and Martha Amelia (Stine) Heatley.
Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband, July 16, 2022 at 11: A.M. at Westlawn Cemetery, North Branch, Michigan.
