Obituary

Dorothy Jean Knoll, of North Branch, formerly of Flint, passed away on February 8, 2023.  Dorothy was born March 11, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of Otis and Lula (Wheelock) Tremain.  She grew up in Mt Morris and graduated High School there.  After high school Dorothy moved to Traverse City, working for the Milliken Department Store, and then for Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator.

Dorothy loved to read and knit, and was a gifted seamstress!  She retired after over 20 years of service with the Genesee Intermediate School District, where she was a receptionist.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Susan (Kelly) Martin of North Branch, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Otis, Ken, Harold and Donald Tremain.

Private services will be held, with burial in the Tremain Family Plot at Flint Memorial Park.

Memorials may be directed to Paradise Animal Rescue, Lapeer, MI.
