Donald Lee Hagemeister Sr

Donald Hagemeister Sr., 87, of Lapeer passed away on August 8, 2023, at  Stonegate Health Campus. Don was born in North Branch on December 2, 1935 the son of Basil and Wilma (Relitz) Hagemeister. He was a 1954 graduate of North Branch Area School. He retired from General Motors as a forklift driver. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing euchre and dominoes.

Don is survived by his son, Don (Theresa) Hagemeister Jr., granddaughter, Crystal (Michael) Hyatt, great-grandchildren, Brianna, Aiden and Evan, siblings, Elaine (Richard) Keller, Donna Swoish, Beverly Raymond, Arlene (Jack) Taylor, Gary Hagemeister and Sharon (Mike) Nicholas, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Vada.

The family will be present for visitation on August 15, 2023, 12:30 PM-1:30 PM at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service at 1:30 PM.  Pastor Joseph Schierlinger will be officiating.
