Dellene Kay Hall, age 85, of North Branch passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at McLaren Lapeer Region. Dellene was born on November 7, 1936 in Watertown Township, the daughter of Dalton Howard and Beatrice Lillian (Kennedy) Williams. She grew in the Sandusky area and was a 1954 graduate of Sandusky High School. On March 4, 1961, Dellene married David Hall in Watertown.
She worked for the State of Michigan as an accountant. Dellene was a member of the North Branch First United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the North Branch Thrift Shop. She was a very dedicated person with being an active member of the church, where she was a secretary for many years and her work at the Thrift Shop, where she served as a board member. She was a caring person. She had a great love for God and her fellowman.
Dellene enjoyed knitting and traveling. She loved being a grandmother to Hunter. He was her pride and joy. She attended many hockey games watching him play.
Dellene is survived by her son, Joel (Danielle) Hall of Columbiaville, her grandson, Hunter Hall, her sister-in-law, Joan Williams, her nieces and nephews, her many church and community friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, her parents, her brother, William Williams, her sister, Barb Maas, her sister-in-law, Nancy Hall Manzer and her nephew, Billy Branch.
Memorials in Dellene’s name may be made to North Branch First United Methodist Church.
Per the family wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dellene’s life will be held at a later date.
