Debra F. Merser, 64, of North Branch passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital with her family by her side. Deb was born on August 18, 1960 in Rochester, MI, the daughter of Ronald and Patricia (Berghoefer) Earich. Deb grew up in the Rochester area and graduated from Avondale High School. On December 5, 1980, she married the love of her life, Keith Merser in Pontiac. Deb was a household engineer, taking care of her husband and raising her three sons. She enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, crossword and word search puzzles, rides in the side by side, going up north to the cabin and camping. She was a loving and caring person, helping others when needed. She loved her family especially her grandchildren with their happy smiling faces.
Deb is survived by her loving husband, Keith, sons, Mike (Jacki) Merser, Shawn (Courtney) Merser, Aaron Merser, grandchildren, Addilynn, Riley, Nolan, Leah, Grady, Finley, Maxon, Wyatt, sisters, Kimberley Johnson, Janet McNamara, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Dean Emory, brother, Ronald Earich Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
The family will be present for visitation on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, 12:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service at 6:00 P.M. Pastor Jason McCrory will officiate. Deb will be laid to rest at West Deerfield Cemetery at a later date.
