David Rouse Sr. Obituary

David Paul Rouse Sr., age 69, of Mayville passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Fisher’s Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center.  David was born on December 11, 1950 in Lapeer, Michigan, the son of William and Virginia (Thielan) Rouse.  He grew up in the Lapeer area and was a 1969 graduate of Lapeer High School.  David proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing his guitar.  He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. David is survived by his children, David (Mary) Rouse, Rodney (Nicole) Rouse and Kristina Rouse; his grandchildren, Issac, Joshua, Khloe, Lance and Ava; his brother, Terry (Roxeann) Rouse; his sisters, Kathy (Brad) Olson and Sue (Steve) Shawn. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sharon Rouse. Family will be present for visitation on Friday, August 14, 2020, 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  David will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at West Deerfield Cemetery. Pastor Steven Henry will do prayers of committal. Military honors will be conducted by the North Branch American Legion Post 457.
