David C. Kaltz

David C. Kaltz, age 68 of North Branch passed away at his home on February 7, 2023. Dave  was born on February 23, 1954, in Warren, MI, the son of Harvey and Marcella (Young) Kaltz.

Dave grew up in Kings Mill area and was a 1972 graduate of North Branch High School.   Dave married Marcia Czaczkowski at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in North Branch.  Dave retired from TRW. Dave was also a professional photographer. He took many pictures of high school graduates and weddings. He enjoyed woodworking, photography and spending time in Caseville with family and friends.

Dave is survived by wife, Marcia, his son, Josh (Natalee) Kaltz, his grandchildren, Julia Kaltz and Anthony Calliea, his great-grandson, Adrian Barrow, his sisters, Catherine Caldwell, Sue (Mark) Sanford, his brothers, Thomas Kaltz, Joseph (Jennifer) Kaltz, Harvey (Debie) Kaltz and Matthew Kaltz, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Jessica Kaltz, his father and mother-in-law, John and Betty Czaczkowski, sister-in-law, Cathy Kaltz, and brother-in-law Eric Soper.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

The family will be present for visitation on Monday, February 13, 2023, 10:30 A.M-12:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Scripture Service at 12:00 P.M. Rev. Richard Treml will be officiating. Dave will be laid to rest next to his daughter at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
