Dave Bruman, of Michigan, passed away March 21, 2025 surrounded by family radiating love and joy. He was a purple heart recipient and served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Candance Bruman; three children, Shawn Bruman (wife, Rena), Amanda Kemp (husband, Jeremy), and Brandy Wadenpfuhl (husband, John); two stepchildren, James Patrick McKee (wife, Julyanne), and Hannah McKee; sister, Jo Ann Haske (husband, Terry); brothers, Leonard Bruman (wife, Joan), Lewie Bruman (wife, Ruth), and Bill Bruman (wife, Susan); seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and George; his brothers, John, Joe, Fred, Bob, and Don; his stepdaughter, Jackie, and his granddaughter, Kylah.
Dave loved everything outdoors, had a passion for music, and found joy being with those he loved. He was an active member of the Lone Star Hiking Trail Club. He could often be found hiking, gardening, and fishing. He played the guitar, harmonica, three string cigar box guitar, and, most recently, the ukulele. He loved to share his hobbies and interests with people by enjoying the outdoors together or teaching them about and how to play music. Dave was a radiance for kindness that illuminated all those he came in contact with.
Services to be held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, North Branch, Michigan on Saturday, June 28th at 11a. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dave’s name to the Disabled Veterans of America.
