Darlene Poppy (Mouland) Katuzin

Darlene Poppy Katuzin, age 57, of North Branch, suddenly and unexpectedly has been embraced by the Lord arms on December 3. 2021. Darlene was born on April 11, 1964, in Livonia, MI, the daughter of Eugene and Agnes (Granville) Mouland.  She was a graduate of Stevenson High School, the class of 1982. Darlene married the love of her life, Kris Katuzin, on October 17, 1986.  We can not even to begin to express the pain in our hearts, but underneath the broken pieces we know that heaven has gained an ever loving angel.

Darlene will last in hearts forever. Her laughter heard off in the distance getting us through the darkest moments. She was never afraid to give the shirt off her back or lend a helping hand. Darlene always lived life to the fullest. She was full of compassion.

Darlene’s loving memory will be brought forth by her husband, Kris of 35 years, her daughter, Keade (Jose) Rodriguez, her 10 grandchildren, her brother, Eugene (Sandy) Mouland. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings.

She will be missed by many and leave a hole that will never be filled, but we have to remember she will be at the golden gates when our time comes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

The family will be present for visitation on Saturday, December 11, 2021, 11:00 A.M-6:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Bruce Lawdon officiating.  Darlene will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
