Daniel Lewis McMillan

Daniel Lewis McMillan, age 75 of Attica, MI, passed away on March 7, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Flint, MI. Dan was born on October 5, 1947 in St. Ignace, MI, the son of Ray and Alma (Lee) McMillan. He grew up in the Cedarville, MI area and was a 1966 graduate of Cedarville High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army with “The Mighty 9th”, Battery A 2nd Battalion 9th Artillery during the Vietnam era.  He married the love of his life, Barbara Gazda on May 2, 1970. Dan retired from Ford Motor Company after 32 years then worked at Walmart for 15 years. Dan enjoyed tinkering in his yard and taking scenic drives with his car. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Dan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara, his children, Melinda (Scott) Deming of Mayville, Dan McMillan of Fostoria, Jeff (Lindsey) McMillan of North Branch, Patrick (Crystal) McMillan of North Branch, his grandchildren, Jonathan, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Tessa, Emily, Austin, Ethan, Hailea, Natalyn, Allie, Wyatt, Curtis. his great-grandsons, Odin and Braxton, brother, Jim McMillan and sister, Zona Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place.
