Daniel Matuszczak
Clifford, Michigan
Daniel Matuszczak passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 82. He was a longtime resident of Clifford, Michigan, and would have celebrated his 83rd birthday on September 4. He was the son of the late Daniel J. Matuszczak and Evelyn E. Matuszczak.
Daniel had a strong connection to the outdoors and a lifelong love for deer hunting and his dogs. He took great pride in his truck and enjoyed the camaraderie of the Michigan Coon Hunters Association, where he spent many evenings among friends and was President there for some time. Some of his closest companions through the years were Charlie Smith and George Gower, whose friendships meant a great deal to him.
He was preceded in death by his children, Dan Matuszczak and Joan Matuszczak. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Matuszczak Zehnpfennig, and grandchildren Natalie Matuszczak (Nicholas Whitaker), Sara Zehnpfennig (Josh Walker), Jessica Zehnpfennig, and Nathan Zehnpfennig.
Daniel will be remembered for the things that brought him joy and the legacy he leaves through his family and friendships.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public service. Daniel will be laid to rest next to his daughter Joan in Greenwood Cemetery.
