Daniel Ray Gibson-Hudson

Daniel Ray Gibson-Hudson, 55, of Fostoria, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on June 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Daniel was born on August 28, 1969 in Pontiac Michigan. He is the son of Hubbard and Lillian (Scott) Gibson. Daniel married Harold Hudson on October 31, 2015 in Salem, Massachusetts, however they have been together a total of 34 ½ years. Daniel enjoyed gardening, being by the ocean, traveling to Salem and New Orleans, and he loved dogs. He dedicated the majority of his life taking care of the elderly and people with disabilities, and jointly owned Forget-Me-Not adult foster care home with his husband, Harold Hudson, for the past 25 years.

Daniel is survived by his husband Harold Hudson, son, Dylan Gibson, sisters; Diane (Roger) Wyman, Debra (Kevin) Gibson, and Dinah (Jerry) Jernigan, many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Danny Gibson and sister-in-law Mary (Petrusha) Gibson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center.

Daniel will be buried at White Chapel in Troy, Michigan at a later date.
