Cleo Viola (Coe) Hilts

Cleo Viola Hilts, age 90, of North Branch passed away at her home on Sunday, April 30, 2023 with her family by her side. Cleo was born in Deerfield Township on November 24, 1932, the daughter of Earl and Verna (Butterfield) Coe. Cleo grew up in North Branch area and attended North Branch Area Schools.  She retired from AC Spark Plug/Delphi.  Cleo enjoyed doing ceramics, stained glass, tending to her flower gardens, feeding and watching the birds. She loved spending time with her family.

Cleo is survived by her children, Debra (Stanley) Cichoracki, Keith Hilts, Kevin Hilts, her son-in-law, David Nellenbach, her 14 grandchildren, her 22  great-grandchildren,    She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Kay Nellenbach, her daughter-in-law, Patricia Hilts, her grandsons, Jeremy and Jamie Rappuhn, her brothers, Curtis Butterfield, Gerald Butterfield, her sister, Maxine Wilcox.

Cremation entrusted to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. A memorial service for Cleo will be held at a later date. Cleo will be laid to rest at West Deerfield Cemetery.
