Carol Ann Stenli, 78, of Brown City, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Marlette Hospice on June 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. Carol was born on May 5, 1947, in Glendale West Virginia to Marion and Stella (DeLong) Berry. She married Arthur Stenli on December 25, 1977, in Warren, MI. Carol enjoyed drawing, and enjoyed writing to her friends the “old fashioned” way. She loved the Lord and shared that love by adding written scripture quotes into the “meals on wheels” deliveries. Very proudly, from birth, she was a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary Earl Francis, Unit #3, Moundsville. Her love of life extended beyond her passing by being a Gift of Life donor. Carol’s family and friends meant the world to her.
Carol is survived by daughter Holly (Larry) Mabery, grandchildren, Loree (Zachary) Barber of Bay City and Jodee (Brenden) Forster of Detroit, brothers, Tom (Kathy) Berry of Moundsville, West Virginia and Mike Berry of Moundsville West Virginia, and many close friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Marlette Hospice or the American Diabetes Association.
The family will be present for visitation on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm at Blackburn Chapel Martin Funeral Home and Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10am to 12pm at The Wesleyan Church, North Branch. Funeral services are on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 12pm at the Wesleyan Church, North Branch
