Candace Ann (Campbell) Hudson

Candace (Candy) Hudson, age 66, of Caro passed away on April18, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.  Candy was born on August 17, 1952 in Flint, MI to Hubert & Theda (Thorpe) Campbell. Candy grew up in Flint and attended Southwestern High School.  On August 30, 1969, Candy married the love of her life, Phillip Hudson, at the First United Methodist Church in North Branch. She was a homemaker. Candy enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, snowmobile and horses. She loved farming and taking care of animals. Most of all, Candy loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Candy is survived by her husband-Phillip; her son-Phillip (Holly) Hudson II of Sterling, MI; her daughter-Cheryl (Ronnie) Gaines of Yale, MI; her brother-Kane Campbell and her sister-Sheila Kagen.  Candy is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren plus one on the way.  She will be missed by her mini dashhound, Susie. Candy was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter-Bessy and her brother-Jim Norton.

Visitation for Candy will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel.  On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, visitation will be 10:00 A.M.-

11:00 A.M. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel.

Her husband, Pastor Phillip Hudson, will officiate. Burial will be at West Deerfield Cemetery.
