Brian William Ash Jr.

Brian William Ash Jr., age, 24, of Lapeer, formerly of North Branch passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at McLaren   Lapeer Region Hospital with his family by his side.  Brian was born on September 13, 1996, in Clinton Township, the son of Brian and   Cheryl (Steelman) Ash. Brian grew up in North Branch and was a 2014 graduate of North Branch High School. He graduated from Kettering University with a mechanical engineering degree. He worked as a Quality Engineer at Oetiker, Marlette, MI.

Brian loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and target shooting. Brian also enjoyed playing computer games, restoring old cars and cooking. He will be greatly missed.

Brian is survived by his mother, Cheryl (David) Smith; his father, Brian Ash; his sister, Tara Ash; his fiancee, Natalie Thompson; his grandparents, James and Carolyn Steelman and Richard and Patricia Beatty. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Ash.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to  the Norh Branch Youth Football Club, in care of the family.

Visitation for Brian will be on Friday, May 28, 2021, 2:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. Per Brian’s wishes cremation will then take place.
