Beverly Ann O’Neill, 82, of Columbiaville, Michigan passed peacefully at home on March 26, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 20, 1943, to Andrew and Pauline Turcsak, Beverly grew up in Columbiaville. She married James Albert O’Neill on June 22, 1963. They lived briefly in Lapeer before returning to Columbiaville, where they spent the rest of their lives together.
Known for her gentle spirit and deep love for others, Beverly created a home filled with warmth and welcome for all who entered. She especially loved the holidays and cherished the time with her family. Whether she was baking a fresh batch of cookies, arranging freshly cut flowers, or dancing to her favorite songs, she truly found joy in every day. Always by her side was her beloved cat, Taffy.
A very special thank you to her devoted caregiver Heather (Den) Birmingham. Your unwavering love and support brought light to the darkest days of dementia.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert O’Neill, her parents Andrew and Pauline, and her brother Andrew. She is survived by her children, Michael O’Neill of Columbiaville, Michigan; Todd (Karrine) O'Neill of Millington, Michigan; and Jennifer (Tom) Walker of North Branch, Michigan; grandchildren Todd Jr, Thomas Walker, and Brandon (Brooke) Walker; sister Bonnie McTaggart, Laura (John) Bailey, and Collene Iversen.
There will be visitation on Monday March 30th, from 10:00am- 12:00pm., and a funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral home, 4216 Huron Street, North Branch, Pastor Nathaniel Gwin Officiating. Following the service, Beverly will be buried next to her husband Jim, at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Branch.
