Betty Jean (Bolinger) Goins

Betty Jean Goins, age 88 of Clifford passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at McLaren/Lapeer Region. Betty was born on April 7, 1933 in Jonesville, Tennessee, the daughter of James Scott and Jenny Allen (Jones) Bolinger.  She grew up in Oliver Springs, TN. Betty was a nurse aid at Suncrest for 10 years.  She enjoyed baking, crafts and knitting. Betty loved serving God by showing kindness wherever she went.

Betty is survived by her sons, Steve Goins of Clifford, MI, Scott Goins of Clifford, MI and Jesse Goins of Romulus, MI; her grandchildren, Josh Goins of Kalamazoo, MI and Anthony Goins of Romulus, MI; her great-granddaughter, Aria Goins and her close friend, Gina Titus of Heaven Sent Ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Goins; her sisters, Alice Bolinger Smith, Melba June Bolinger; her brothers, Charles Randal Bolinger and Joseph Jonathon Bolinger.

Graveside services for Betty will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 10:30 A.M. at Christian Memorial Garden East Cemetery, 255. W. Sheridan Road, Peck, MI. Pastor Kris Titus will be officiating.
