Betty Ann (Tallieu) (Bennett) Cloutier

Betty Ann (Tallieu) (Bennett) Cloutier, age 85 of North Branch passed away on November 25, 2019 at United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospice.  Betty was born October 12, 1934 in Kings Mill, Michigan, the daughter of Felix and Helen Louise (Schwerin) Tallieu, and she had a step-father, Harry Johnson, who also was an important person in her life.  Betty married Ralph Bennett in 1952, he preceded her in death in 1978.  Later in her life she married Tom Cloutier in 1991 and he preceded her in death in 2009. 

Betty enjoyed working outside in her lawn and gardens, she loved to pick up her grandson and he would help her.  Betty also enjoyed word search and puzzles.

Betty is survived by her grandsons: Robert and Cathy Bennett and Tony Bennett; great-grandson, Robert Jr. and great-granddaughter, Andrea; sisters: Vernetta Goss and Sheila Davis; and brothers: Jerry and Pete Tallieu, and Dick Johnson.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her 2 husbands; son, Robert, he passed away on September 18, 2016; her brothers: Joseph, Stanley, and Louis Tallieu, and David Johnson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.

The family will be present for visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.  The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM all at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Dawn Memorial, Elba, MI.  Pastor David Sutton will officiate.
