Austin "Billy Buck" Aubert

Austin “Billy Buck” Aubert, age 76, of North Branch passed away at home with his family by  his side on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Austin was born on August 5, 1943 in Cheboygan, Michigan, the son of Althonse and Alice (McCarty) Aubert. He grew up in the Cheboygan area. He moved down state to work at General Motors. He retired after 30 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with family and friends.

Austin is survived by his wife, LaTona; his sons, Barry (Lisa) Aubert and Brad Aubert; his grandchildren; his brothers, Harland Aubert and Nick Aubert; his nieces and nephews; his best friend and partner in crime Richard Russell, Jr. and Richard’s wife Stacy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Austin’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Austin’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the home of Richard and Stacy Russell, 4840 Jones Road, North Branch at 2:00 P.M. Family and friends of "Billy Buck" are invited to attend.
