Arthur "Art" James Podvin Jr.

Arthur “Art” James Podvin Jr., age 52 of Clifford passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Art was born on September 2, 1971 in Lapeer, the son of Arthur and Allona (Barck) Podvin. Art grew up in the North Branch area and was a 1989 graduate of North Branch Area Schools. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Art worked at Vintech Industries  in Imlay City. Art enjoyed golfing and was a huge Lions fan.  Art was a family man. He loved spending time with his boys. They were the joy of his life. He will be deeply missed.

Art is survived by his girlfriend, Angela Vanderpool; his sons, Brody and Sawyer; his mother, Allona Podvin; his sister, Lora (Terry) Seaman; his brothers, Wade (Shari) Podvin and Stacy (Erika) Podvin; his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Kathy.

The family will be present for visitation on Monday, December 11, 2023, 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service at 4:00 P.M. Pastor Kelly Curell will officiate. Art will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery at a later date. North Branch American Legion Post 457 will conduct military honors after the funeral service.
