April J. (Watters) Curell

April J. Curell, age 59, of Mayville, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. April was born on September 9, 1960, in  Kankakee, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Mary Jane (Milner) Watters.

On October 13, 1979, she married Delwin Curell in Grand Rapids, MI.  April was a caregiver for 20 years before her illness. She enjoyed being around people and making everyone feel special. She loved going on road trips with her hubbie. Spending time with her grandchildren and family gave her great joy. She expressed her love for Christ to everyone.

April is survived by her loving husband, Delwin; her son, Brent (Karrie) Curell; his children Abigail. Victoria, Lillian, Zebadiah, Ezekiel, Adaline and Zachariah; her daughter, Jeanette (Chris) TerBush; her children, Faith, Ethan, Lena, Jase; her mother, Mary Jane Watters; her siblings, Robert (Judy) Watters, Thomas (Robin) Watters and Janet Watters; her in-laws, Gary (Linda) Curell, Larry (Trudy) Curell, Dennis (Sue) Curell, Darlene (Robert) Lott, David (Annette) Curell and Thomas (Phyllis) Curell; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Watters; father-in-law, Max Curell, her mother-in-law, Jean Curell and her grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Graveside service for April will be on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at West. Deerfield Cemetery. Pastor Robert Lott will officiate. Family and friends are invited, please bring your lawn chairs and umbrellas.
