Ann Marie (Forbes) Jones

Ann Marie Jones, 72 of Clifford, passed away February 14, 2019, from diabetic complications at Marlette Hospice with her family at her side. She was born on August 8,1946 in Marlette to Edsel and Jeannine (Denvens) Forbes.  Ann grew up in Clifford and went to school at Kingston and  graduated from Kingston High School. She went to St. Clair County Community College to become a L.P.N. She was a nurse for many years at Sanilac Hospice.                                                                 Ann married Kenneth Jones on March 26,1967.  Ann enjoyed gardening and canning her own veggies. She also canned venison (grandma Wilcox’s) recipe. She also loved all her cats.                                 Ann is survived by her husband Kenneth, daughter- Patricia Bruman and son- Thomas (Tammy) Jones, daughter-in-law – Marsha Jones.  Sisters- Sharon Reamer and Kristine Verburgt. Grandchildren- Tim, Kenny, Cassidy, Josh, Marissa, T.J., Randell and Joni. Great-grandchildren Harley and Hunter Jones, Remington Ebbs.                                                                                                                      Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Brother-Edward Forbes, and son- David.                                            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be Saturday February 23, 2019 at 3:00pm at the Lapeer Congregation of Jehovah Witness, 2800 N.
