Alfred "Al" R Castle JR

Alfred “AL” R. Castle JR. age 62 of North Branch passed away.  Al was born on March 7, 1961 in Lapeer MI, son of Alfred R. SR. and Millie Castle.  He grew up in North Branch, graduating from North Branch High School class of 1979.  After high school Al joined and served in the Navy, Army and National Guards for 22 years.

Al liked spending time outdoors camping and hunting.  He also enjoyed reading and watching a good movie.  One of his greatest pleasures in life was his granddaughters, he adored them.  He was known for his sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Al is survived by his son; Zachary (Courteney) Castle, daughter; Megan Castle, granddaughters; Evenira and Judith, parents; Alfred and JoeAnn Castle, brother; Shawn Castle, sister; Carol (Jeff) Bennett, step sisters; Jolene Cuedy, Patti LaBele and Lynn LaLonde.   He was preceded in death by his mother; Millie Olson and his grandparents.

Visitation for Al will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM with the funeral service with Military Honors to follow at 1:00 PM all at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home, North Branch.  Burial will be in the Westlawn Cemetery, North Branch.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
