It is with great sadness that the family of Willard “Bill” Cash Holloway, Jr. announces his passing on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the age of 87.
Willard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953. Willard retired from Consumer Energy at the age of 62. Bill loved to travel and enjoyed spending time camping with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed doing woodworking.
Willard (Bill) will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 12 years Pauline, and his 4 sons, Jim (Nancy), Denny (Lori), Jeff (Claire) and Greg (Mary). Bill will also be fondly remembered by his 11 grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Sarah, Jeffery, Ryan, Kevin, Andrew, Alyssa, Megan, Nathan, Austin, and 9 great grandchildren, Hailey, Emma, Isabell, Wesley, Joshua, Kendall, Mathias, Natalie and Gracie, by his sister Eilene Jones, and his sister-in-law Mazie Cameron Bill was preceded in death by his brother James Holloway, and his first wife Thelma. A private memorial service in memory of Bill will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, with Pastor Melillo officiating. Bill will be laid to rest next to his first wife and the mother of their four sons, Thelma in Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan. Those who desire may make a memorial donation in memory of Bill to the American Cancer Society.
