Thomas D. Richmond

Thomas D. Richmond, age 70, of Yale, formerly from North Branch passed away on January 25, 2019.  Tom was born on December 25, 1948 in Mayville, Mi. to Odell and Hassie (Mayo) Richmond.  Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  Tom lived in North Branch for many years and was a tool & die marker at Custom Mold Tool & Die in North Branch. 

Tom loved to go hunting and fishing. He especially loved hound dogs and beagles.

Tom is survived by his children: Timothy James, Thomas Dale II  and Heather Ann, his brothers: Howard (Janet) Richmond, Paul (Carol) Richmond, David (Kathy) Richmond, Gary (Teena) Richmond, Jack (Linda) Richmond, his sisters: Vicki (Larry) Johnston, Susan Richmond,  Charlotte  (Troy) Richardson and Kimmie (Dean) Albrecht, grandchildren: Edward Jackson, Jordyn Richmond, Jesse Pratt, Faith Pratt, and Camilla Pratt  and great-grandchildren  Mason Lane  and Layne Jackson and many nieces and nephews.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Ricky and infant sister Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.                                Many thanks to Tom’s niece Kristy for being his caregiver for so many years.     Family will be present for visitation on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00-1:00 P.M.  at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Edward Gates officiating.  Burial will be at West Burlington Cemetery.  North Branch American Legion Post 457 will be conducting military honors.
