Ronald Kenneth Kehler

Ronald Kenneth Kehler, age 78 of North Branch, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 peacefully at his home with his family at his side.  Ron was born on February 14, 1941 in Winnipeg, Canada, the son of Jacob Kehler and Marie Buhr.  On September 22, 1972 he married the love of his life, Rosemary Tiller. Ron sadly died on Rosemary’s birthday. 

Ron enjoyed truck driving and drove trucks his whole life.  He enjoyed golfing, watching the Detroit Tigers and hockey.  Ron loved to play all card games, but he especially enjoyed playing cribbage with his son, Robert and grandson, Michael.  He was a great story teller. Ron especially loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren. 

Ron is survived by his daughter, Robin Cary (fiancé Terry Zabel of North Branch; son, Robert (Angela) Kehler of Tennessee; grandchildren, Haley, Michael, Logan, Mandee, and Amber.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rosemary; and 4 brothers.

The family will be present for visitation on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 PM  all at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Deacon Joe Schierlinger will officiate.
