Robert M. Steinbrink, age 66 of North Branch, passed away at his home on October 25, 2018, surrounded by loving family, after a strong and courageous battle with lung cancer.
Robert was born August 31, 1952 in Mt. Clemens to the late Robert and Bernice (Quandt) Steinbrink. He graduated from Chippewa Valley High School in June 1970 and married his sweetheart, Denise Charbeneau on June 23, 1972 in Mt. Clemens, MI. They moved to North Branch in 1977 where Bob worked as a gravel train driver and heavy equipment operator until he retired in July 2017. Robert was an avid Nascar fan, loved deer hunting season, shooting skeet and most of all, spending time with his family. He was a very hard-working, family-devoted man who will be greatly missed.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Denise (Charbeneau); children Bethany Judd and Joshua Steinbrink; adored grandchildren, Emily, Caleb, Rebekah, Noah, Chloe and Aubree; siblings, Ronald (Mary) Steinbrink, Thomas Steinbrink, Barbara (Eric) Blash; brother-in-law, Robert Slate and sisters-in-law Anette (Norman) Phillps and Cherie Charbeneau; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Robert was proceeded in death by his parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law Ralph (Phyllis) Smith, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Susan (Duane) Slate, sister-in-law Michele Slate, brother-in-law Melvin Charbeneau, niece Alexandria Charbeneau, and nephew Matthew Slate.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 4:00pm. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. All services will be held at Blackburn Chapel – Martin Funeral Home in North Branch. Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Todd Petty. Bob will be laid to rest at West Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield Township, Michigan.
