Nancy Joan (Kresge) Parrish

 Nancy Joan Parrish, 79 of North Branch passed away Friday, March 1,2019 at Stonegate Health Campus, Lapeer. Nancy was born October 20, 1939 to Stanley Alexander and Lucille (Slaybaugh) Kresge in Pontiac, Michigan.  Nancy grew up in Metamora and attended school at Lapeer and graduated from Lapeer High in 1958.

 Nancy did work outside of the house as a production factory worker for MSP. However she loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family,  especially  her grandchildren. She loved cooking, crocheting, video games like King’s Bounty, and loved giraffes. She really loved her cat- Emmy

 Nancy would marry Eugene Parrish and would have 5 children. Nancy is survived by those 5 children ,  Daughters: Christine Parrish, Cynthia (Steve) Meyer, Anne (Murray) Meyer, Lisa (Randy) Ward, and son: Norman Parrish.  Nine grandchildren Sarah, Stephanie, & Angie Speck; Kyle, Alyssa, & Ariel Meyer; Jeffrey Meyer II; Kayla (Adam) Chapman; Nicole Ward and 2 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by many brothers and sisters.   Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

 Family will be present for visitation on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 10-11:30am. Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am Tuesday.  All will be held at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home North Branch. Burial will follow at West Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield Township.
