Morgan Allean Fike

Morgan Allean Fike, age 16 of North Branch passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, January 21, 2018.  Morgan was born on April 4, 2001 in Lapeer, MI, the daughter of Dennis and Barbara (Butler) Fike.  Morgan was a Junior at North Branch High School.  She was very active in many activities at school some being; the North Branch High School National Honor Society, she enjoyed bowling, and as a sophomore  was 2nd team All Conference on the Varsity Bowling Team.  Morgan played the flute in the North Branch High School Band and danced at Dynamic Dance Studio in North Branch.  She loved to take landscaping pictures and scrapbook with Aunt Margaret.  Morgan recently published a book of poems.  She was a member of the North Branch Methodist Church. 

Morgan is survived by her parents, Dennis and Barbara (Butler) Fike; brothers, Travis (Avery) and Cole Fike, grandparents; Alice Fike,  Jim and Marje Butler all of North Branch; aunts and uncles, Margaret (Buck) Maloney of Imlay City, Jim (Belinda) Butler of South Carolina, Alan (Pat) Fike of Woodhaven, Bonnie Hanna, Randy (Toby) Fike, Lynne Fike, Terry (Janet) Fike all of North Branch, Sue (Ken) Schneider of Mayville and Denise Thompson of Caledonia; and many cousins.

Morgan was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roy Fike, uncle, Roger Fike and her beloved pet, Milo.  Uncle Roger is now enjoying Beauty and The Beast with Morgan rather than Dora. 

Memorials may be made to charity of your choice, or to the family to be used at their discretion.

 The family will be present for visitation on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 1 to 8 PM at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home and on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the North Branch High School.  The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Auditorium.  Pastor Peter Damaska will officiate.  Morgan will be laid to rest at the Maple Grove Cemetery in North Branch.
