Marylin Ruth (Chambers) McLaughliin

Marylin Ruth McLaughlin 82, of North Branch passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Marlette Long Term Care, with her loving family by her side. Marylin was born May 1, 1936 to Harry R. and Louise (Bolsey)  Chambers in Vassar. She grew up with her brothers in North Branch and attended school at North Branch and graduated in 1954.

 She married Charles McLaughlin on February 18, 1956 at the North Branch Methodist Church.

Marylin was a housewife and also was an aide on the school buses in Florida.

 She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, bowling  and playing Bingo. She was a member of a snowmobile club in North Branch, the Snobirds.

 Marylin is survived by her children Cyndi (Terry) Hampton of North Branch, Tammy (Ron) Hutchinson of North Branch, Tom (Kimberly) McLaughlin of Seattle, Washington, Tracy (Linda) McLaughlin of Brown City. Brothers Robert (Marge) Chambers of White Lake, Jim (Joanne) Chambers of White Lake. She had 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and her special friend, Marie Bowman.

Marylin was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles and brother Harry Chambers Jr.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Family will be present for visitation on Thursday, December 13 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home in North Branch from 1pm-8pm and Friday December 14 at North Branch United Methodist Church from 10am-11am. Funeral Service will be December 14 at the Methodist Church at 11am. with Rev. Ron Hutchinson, James and Chad Hampton officiating. Marylin will be laid to rest with her husband Charles at Westlawn Cemetery in North Branch.
