Malcolm Fick Obituary

Malcolm “Mac” Fick age 100, of Attica passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Fisher Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center, the son of Claude and Rose (Doebler) Fick.  He married his beloved wife, Frances Winslow on May 25, 1962 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in North Branch.  She passed away in   January 2007.  Mac and his late wife lived in the Attica area and wintered in Florida.  Mac proudly served his country as 1st Sergeant in the Army during WWII.  He retired from Flint Road Builders with many years of service.  Mac loved working and collecting his antique cars. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Brown; grandchildren, Katie and Gregory; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Heffel, Jeanette Crutchfield and Thelma (Charles) Woodrow; and brother Francis Fick; many nieces and nephews.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances; son, Jack in 1976;  4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Memorials may be made to SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation for Mac will be on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home and from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, June 10, 2019 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on June 10, 2019 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Father Muma will officiate.  Malcolm will be buried in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery next to his wife Francis with Military Honors at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
