Joseph Paul Jacks

Joseph Jacks, 58, of North Branch, passed away July 23, 2018 at home with his family by his side.

Joe was born July 18,1960 in Detroit to  Warren & June Marie (Erickson) Jacks. He grew up in Warren and went to school there.

 Joe married Dana Jorah on April 7, 2000 in Lapeer.  He was in the automotive industry as a welder.

He loved fishing, playing Frisbee,  and watching T.V., especially football, go Michigan State! He enjoyed watching Ghosts Adventures  and UFC Boxing. Joe especially loved to spend time with his family and friends.

 Joe is survived by his wife, Dana; children:  Maria Burns, Frank Burns, Joseph B. Jacks, Jessica Rowe, Dani (Timothy) Butler and Rachael Jacks; grandchildren: Kayla, Matthew Clay, Isabella, Summer, Khloe, Nathan, Rileigh, Baleigh, Nia and another one on the way;  brother, Warren Jacks of Ohio; sister, Sonja Harris of North Branch and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. His special friends were Jeff Sikorski and Steve Varney, and his cat Cali.

 Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pat.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home to help with final expenses.

Family will be present for visitation on Saturday July 28, 2018 from 11am -1pm at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow Saturday at 1:00pm, with Deacon Joe Schierlinger officiating.
