John W. Thomas

John W. Thomas, 61 of Mayville passed away Tuesday, December 18 at home with his loving family by his side. John was born November 3, 1957 in Caro to Louis W. and Patricia (Kane) Thomas. John would grow up in North Branch with his three sisters Charlou, Lynette and Lou Anne. He went to school and graduated from North Branch High School in 1976.                                                                                                                                      John became an auto body technician and mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cars. His ’55 Chevy was his pride and joy.  John especially enjoyed being with family and friends.                                                                                                                                                                                   John is survived by his mother Patricia, three loving children Jinger (Bruce) Spaulding, Jesse (Erin) Thomas and Jodi (Scott) Myers, his 10 grandchildren and his three sisters. John has many nieces and nephews. He also has many special friends.                                                                                                                                                                       John was preceded in death by his father Louis W. Thomas and stepfather James McInally.                                     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to John’s Family.                                                                              Family will be present for visitation on Thursday, December 20 from 12pm to 2pm and the funeral service will follow at 2pm all at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home North Branch.  Burial will follow service in Rich Township Cemetery in Mayville. Rev. Ron Hutchinson will be officiating.
