Doris Marie (Firmingham) Wright

Doris Wright 84, of Silverwood, passed away Wednesday September 12, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born March 13, 1934 in Lapeer, Mi.  to  Frank and Mabel (Klauka) Firmingham.   Doris grew up in the Five Lakes area and attended Five Lakes School.  She married James E. Wright in Lapeer on August 8, l953.  She worked in the automotive industry as a production worker. 

     Doris enjoyed bowling, bingo and puzzle books. Most of all spending time with her  grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   Doris is survived by her children, Doris  (Sam) Hutchinson, James Wright, Donna (William) Nealer, Ginger (Tom) Hunter, Robert Joe Wright, Jack(Dawn) Wright, Jessica Groce, and Sharon Wright.  Sisters, Wilma Prentiss and Donna Boyne.  24 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren,  along with many nieces and nephews.   Special friend-Doug Hardenburgh  and her loving pet Susie. 

  Doris was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.  Daughters-in –law Carolyn Wright and Laura Wright. Step-children Eddie Wright, Beatrice Caudell and Carl Wright. Great-granddaughter-Hannah Hunter and great-grandson-Carson Scadden.

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to McLaren Hospice or Fostoria Baptist Church.

  Family will be present for visitation on Saturday, September 15th  from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.  Funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Henry officiating.  Burial will be in West Burlington Cemetery in Silverwood.
