David Lee Marr

David Lee Marr, age 34, of Millington passed away on August 20, 2018 from an accident.  David was born on May 23, 1984 in Flint, Michigan.  He was the son of David Arthur and Evelyn Doreen (Hoolihan) Marr.

 David grew up in Silverwood.  He attended North Branch High School.  David was a roofing contractor.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the video games, but he especially loved his family and spending time with them. 

David is survived by his parents: Evelyn (Hoolihan) Marr of Kentucky and David Marr; mother of his son, Stephanie (Truax) Marr and their son, Raider;

Love of his life: Brittany Nelson and their children, Emarie and Trevor;

Siblings: John Hoolihan, Ashley (Jose) Carreto, Meka Hoolihan, Tasha Newcombe, and Brandon Newcombe; Grandparents, Richard Larsh; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Patricia Larsh and Betty Plummer; 2 uncles, Richard Larsh and Brian Larsh and aunt, Kimberly Hoolihan.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home to help for funeral expenses. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The Funeral Service will follow at noon at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Pastor Julie Moore will officiate.
