Carol Marie (Trato) Primeau

Carol Marie Primeau, age 78, of North Branch passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Carol was born on December 14, 1940 in  North Branch, MI , the daughter of Melvin and Dorothy (Rowbotham) Trato. Carol grew up in the North Branch area and was a 1958 graduate of North Branch High School.  Carol married Richard Primeau on May 17, 1958 at St. Mary’s Burnside Catholic Church in North Branch.                

Carol was devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved attending their sporting events   Carol and Richard spent 26 years wintering in Texas. In the summertime, family joined them boating in Port Huron and Bayport .Carol loved going out to eat with family and friends.        

Carol is survived by her husband, Richard, her children, Angie and Bill Bouma,  Dan and Julie Primeau, Chris Primeau, Leslie and Sean Cummings, Rick and Tanya Primeau, her grandchildren, Ryan and Lacey Lamb, Brooke  and Danielle Primeau, Logan and Brant Primeau, Colin  and Shane Cummings, her sister-in-law Sharon Trato, her nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gilbert Trato.

Visitation for Carol will be on Friday, October 4, 2019, 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  at Blackburn Chapel.  On Saturday, October 5, 2019, visitation will be 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. with funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel. Pastor Joseph Schlierlinger will be officiating. Carol will be laid to rest in Arcadia Township Cemetery in Lum, MI.
