Robert C Collum age 66, of North Branch, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 peacefully in his sleep at his home with his family at his side.  Robert was born on February 22, 1951 in Detroit, the son of the late Cleve and Elizabeth Collum.

Robert married Marion Myers on March 10, 1970, they were married 47 years. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1973.  Robert retired from Chrysler with 38 years of service.  Robert enjoyed reading his Bible, watching movies, and loved being outdoors, loving his wife and spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his wife, Marion; his 2 children, Lisa (David) Nunley and Wade Collum; his 5 grandchildren, Jessica (Jacob), Jacquelyn (Michael),Julia, Wade Jr., and Isabella; his sisters, Janet McCune and Barbara (Joe) McGee; his brother, Dennis (Michelle) Hartson; many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Cleve Collum and Elizabeth Hartson; 2 sons, Kirk and Eric Collum.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his nurse from Hometown, Karen, she was very helpful.

The family will be present for visitation on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 3 to 8 PM at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 PM at Blackburn Chapel.  Pastor Brent Jerome will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted by the North Branch American Legion Post #457.
