Lynn Albert Hoffman

Lynn Albert Hoffman age 71 of North Branch passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018.  Lynn was born June 23, 1946 in North Branch, the son of  Floyd Albert and Eva Onalee (McInally) Hoffman.  Lynn grew up in North Branch and graduated from North Branch High School in 1964.  Lynn proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 as a Sergeant at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in the motor pool.

Lynn married Yvonne Rappuhn on April 25, 1975 at the North Branch United Methodist Church.  She preceded him in death on October 6, 2012.  Lynn served   North Branch Township for 28 years, the last 26 as North Branch Township Supervisor. Lynn was the Greenskeeper for the Washakie Golf Course since the construction began in 1985.  Lynn also was past chief for the North Branch  Village Fire Department.  Lynn loved spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are; his mother, Eva Onalee Hoffman of North Branch; daughter, Amber (Nathan) Graham of Sarnia, Canada; son, Micah (Anna) Hoffman of North Branch and sisters, Bette Kay Swadling of North Branch and De Ann Louise (Fred) Lovasz of North Branch, brother, Gary (Christine) Hoffman of Massachusetts, grandsons, Carter Graham, Rodney and Ronin Hoffman and granddaughter, Mila Hoffman, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Albert, wife, Yvonne, nephews, Zachary Hoffman, and Rodney Hodges, and infant -great-nephew, Hunter Hodges. 

Memorials may be made to the family to be used at their discretion.

The family will be present for a gathering from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on February 17, 2018 at North Branch United Methodist Church.  The Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 PM.  Rev. Ronald Hutchinson will officiate.  Military Honors will be performed at the church by the North Branch American Legion Post #457.
