Randy and Kelly: I am privileged to have had Norm as my father-in-law; he always treated me (and Kirsten) as his own. I wish I could be there in person to give you both a big hug. Love you both.
In lieu of flowers, I have donated to the Wounded Warriors Project (in his honor).

What a special and wonderful man Norm was, we will miss him so much. To have him as our neighbor and friend these past four-plus years was such a beautiful blessing. A treasured memory---- Less than a month after moving into our home we had a big snowstorm, and we were trying to shovel out, with much difficulty. Then, here comes Norm on his snow plow to save the day... And that was it, our first meeting with our wonderful neighbor! I remember saying to my husband that he had the warmest, kindest blue eyes. Then as we came to know him better, we found out just how genuine and true that kindness was. He and my husband had a special bond that I know Don will cherish always, they were "buds". We can't even talk about him now without tears welling in our eyes. We want to extend our thoughts, prayers, and love to all of the family. May our Lord bring you comfort, peace, and solace in the coming days. Please, let us know if there is anything we can do for you. God bless. Don and Tracy Rives

I was very surprised to here about Junior. I saw him at the football hall of fame dinner and he looked good. Se were confirmed together at the Lutheran Church and we attended high school and graduated together. WE played football on the same team also. The family has my condolences and He was a good person. We lived around the corner from Virgil and Sarah for several years.
