Curtis Hollingshead and I were each others first loves, high school sweethearts. We lost touch as years passed but I always held a special place in my heart for Curt. Very recently we reconnected and I am so grateful to have had that time with him. We talked and laughed about the old days and how I used to make him watch all my favorite chick flicks and even Days of our Lives. He told me he didn't mind. He said Pam you were my best friend back then. The thing is that no matter how far apart we grew I knew that if I really needed him he would have dropped everything to be there for me. That is the kind of person he was, he SHOWED how much he cared. On top of that he was funny, sensitive and he had a one of a kind laugh. Every time he texted he would always say something quirky to get me to smile. Curtis was one of a kind, he was my friend and I will miss him.

Dude, I was devastated when I found out about Curtis. I hadn't heard a name until today. I am so very sorry for your loss. My husband was tragically killed earlier this summer so I have an idea of your heartache. I will keep you in my heart with loving thoughts hoping that is of some comfort to you.
Love You,
Becky

I can't not imagine how you are feeling, the sorrow of losing your beloved son. Words can not express the horror I felt when I heard about his tragic death. He was just three years younger than my own son James and I could not bare the thought of losing my son the way you have lost Curtis, nor in any way. My heart goes out to you and your whole family. I hope that all of the wonderful memories of your precious son will bring you comfort. I will keep you in my prayers.

He came into my office a couple months ago, excited that he was working the pipeline and it was right here in Davison! He was an awesome resident and always had a smile on his face. I am so sorry for his friends & family, what a loss. My prayers will be with you all.

I wish I had the words that could ease the pain that I know you are feeling, but words are not enough. Losing a child is impossibly hard, and I can only hope that God will comfort you and bring you peace. I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Curtis stands out as one of my most enjoyable students with his mischievous grin, sly sense of humor, and big heart. Our world is truly lessened by his passing.
